Luis D. Rovira joined the Judicial Arbiter Group, Inc. in 1996 after serving as Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court from 1990. He was first appointed a Justice of that court in 1979. Prior to his appointment to the Colorado Supreme Court, Rovira served on the Denver District Court handling civil, domestic relations, and criminal matters for three years. |

For twenty-six years, he was engaged in the private practice of law concentrating his efforts in business, natural resources, and public utility law. Justice Rovira received both his B.A. degree in 1948 and his law degree in 1950 from the University of Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 until 1946, and as a reservist as a member of the Judge Advocate General Department in the USAF until 1975. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of Children’s Hospital, the Board of Trustees of the Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation, and the Board of the Denver Foundation.
